Pepita’s trips

1. CONTEXTO:

El cuento “Pepita’s trips” se enseñará a niños/as de 2-3 años, porque ya comprenden la mayoría de las palabras del cuento y además lo aprenden con rapidez. El cuento será utilizado en el aula durante un mes coincidiendo con la UPI de las estaciones del año.

2. OBJETIVOS:

Los objetivos a trabajar con este cuento son:

ú Trabajar las estaciones del año.

ú Identificar las estaciones del año.

ú Introducir las características propias de cada estación.

ú Reconocer los diferentes animales.

ú Asociar los animales con su entorno.

ú Interactuar con los diferentes elementos del cuento.

3. TEMPORALIZACION:

La lectura del cuento y la actividad posterior se llevaría a cabo en el aula coincidiendo con la UPI de las estaciones del año porque una vez que esos conceptos ya han sido asimilados en su lengua materna es favorable hacerlo en la segunda lengua extranjera, en este caso el inglés.

4. CUENTO:

Pepita is very peculiar, if you don’t look at her closely, you won’t understand it. She is a dust, nosy, vain and she likes travelling. Her new journey is already prepared!!

After some days of trip, Pepita arrives in a new place, she doesn’t know where she is. But it is really hot she is going to sunburn. There, she met Ahab, a red and little crab. Ahab showes her place and says this is the beach and the summer more people come here. Pepita says bye bye to Ahab and she travels again.

Pepita is a new place, now it’s rainning and there are many leaves on the floor. There she met Bill and Norm, that they are a caterpillar and worm. They say her, that the autumn has arrived and the floor is wet. Pepita says them bye bye and she travels again.

Pepita is a new place, there she met a bear and he says that his name is Saphire. Pepita don´t know where she is and Saphire answers this is Antartida!! Pepita bye bye to Shaphire and she travels again.

Pepita has arrived a wonderful place and a lot of friends are wait her. Fliying in the air a wonderful butterfly, on the floor is a little ladybird. In the tree there is a bird and the flower is a bee.

Pepita is happy in this place and she says bye bye to us.

5. METODOLOGIA:

La actividad comienza con hello kids! It’s time to listen a story, make a circle and sit down on the floor. Now, pay atention to me. A continuación se contaría el cuento. El siguiente paso sería la realización de la actividad.

6. ACTIVIDADES:

La actividad propuesta para finalizar la sesión sería la realización de un mural con las estaciones del año. Se repartiría a cada niño un dibujo diferente, lo tendrían que colorear y posteriormente pegar en la zona del mural que corresponda según el dibujo que tenga cada uno.

* Mota de polvo: Dust.

* Otoño: Autumn

* Verano: Summer.

* Invierno: Winter.

* Primavera: Spring.

ú Cangrejo: Crab.

ú Gusano: Caterpillar.
